About Us

We originally opened a small store in Calle San Jose in Sitges when marks and Spencer closed their doors in Barcelona. People kept asking “Now where will we get our crumpets?” The original shop was very small and very busy. We later opened one in L’Ametlla de Mar but spent at least 2 days a week delivering in Barcelona to Yachts, offices and private homes.

We very soon realised it was time to come back to Barcelona and opened the shop in Calle Floridablanca (recently mooved to Calle Roger de Lluria). Two years later we came back to Sitges, but maintained the Barcelona store also.

Since 2020 we have a store and warehouse in Cubelles.

We deliver all over Spain. We also supply lots of hotels and restaurants as well as private customers. We have a great Facebook page where we run competitions and prize draws. We also raise a lot of money for animal refuges by selling second hand books. We donate food and money for medications as well as helping the ladies who feed the cat colonies on the Street. We also have a good selection of new books.
